Did I mention on here that I joined Weight Watchers last week? I have known people who have successfully lost weight on the program and I figured anything that forced me out of the house once a week is a good thing!

I went to my first meeting last Thursday. Today I went back and, lo and behold, I list 2.8lbs! Not bad for one week! This in spite of having pizza and cheesecake for my husband’s birthday.

It’s a great feeling to be doing something good for myself. I’ve never been super skinny (I have curves!) but I have also never weighed as much as I did a week ago. I’m excited about the program and feeling really good about getting back to healthy.
